O'ZBEKCHA

Mazkur maqolada ingliz va o‘zbek tillarida harakat fe’llarining leksikografik talqini qiyosiy jihatdan tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqot jarayonida harakat semantikasi, yo‘nalish komponenti, police-mantik xususiyatlar hamda lug‘at maqolalarida definitsion ifodalanish usullari o‘rganildi. Ingliz tilidagi izohli lug‘atlar, xususan, Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary hamda Longman Dictionary of Contem-porary English materiallari o‘zbek tilining izohli lug‘ati bilan qiyoslandi.

В данной статье рассматриваются лексикографические особенности глаголов движения в английском и узбекском языках. В процессе исследования анализируются семантичес-кая структура, компонент направленности, полисемия и способы дефиниционного описания в тол-ковых словарях. Материалы английских словарей, в частности Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary и Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, сопоставляются с данными узбекских толковых сло-варей.

Ключевые слова: глаголы движения, лексикография, семантический анализ, сопоставитель-ная лингвистика, направленность, полисемия, толковый словарь.

ENGLISH

This article examines the lexicographic treatment of motion verbs in English and Uzbek from a comparative perspective. The study focuses on semantic structure, directional components, poly-semy, and definitional strategies in explanatory dictionaries. Materials from English dictionaries, particu-larly Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary and Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, are compared with data from Uzbek explanatory dictionaries.
