INGLIZ VA O‘ZBEK BADIIY DISKURSIDA ANTROPONIMIK BIRLIKLARNING KOMMUNIKATIV FOKUS HOSIL QILISHDAGI FUNKSIYALARI
Mazkur maqolada ingliz va o‘zbek badiiy diskursida antroponimik birliklarning kom-munikativ fokusni shakllantirishdagi funksiyalari qiyosiy jihatdan tahlil qilinadi. Atoqli otlar narrativ ax-borotning markaziy referentini belgilash, referensial aniqlikni ta’minlash va o‘quvchi e’tiborini muayyan personajga yo‘naltirish vositasi sifatida talqin etiladi. Virginia Woolf, George Orwell, William Golding, Said Ahmad va Tog‘ay Murod asarlaridagi personaj nominatsiyalari kontekstual-diskursiv, referensial va qiyosiy metodlar asosida o‘rganildi. Tahlil natijasida antroponimlarning birlamchi nominatsiya, fokusni qayta tiklash, referensial differensiatsiya va tematik markazlashtirish funksiyalari aniqlandi. Kommunika-tiv fokusning funksional qiymati nomning takrorlanishidan ko‘ra, uning matndagi pozitsiyasi, narrativ per-spektiva va referensial muhit bilan bog‘liqligi asoslandi.
This article comparatively examines the functions of anthroponymic units in the formation of communicative focus in English and Uzbek literary discourse. Proper names are treated as devices for identifying the central referent of narrative information, ensuring referential clarity, and directing the reader’s attention to a particular character. Character nominations in the works of Virginia Woolf, George Orwell, William Golding, Said Ahmad, and Tog‘ay Murod are analysed using contextual-discursive, referential, and comparative methods. The analysis identifies the functions of initial nomination, focus restoration, referential differentiation, and thematic foregrounding. It is argued that the functional value of communicative focus is determined not merely by the frequency of name repetition, but by the name’s textual position, narrative perspective, and referential context.
